| If you were a SWO you could be qualified for an origional Second Mate liscence in the Merchant Marines. If not, you would qualify for an origional third. It would require you to take a test, apply, etc, but there are jobs everywhere from inland tugs to ocean going ships. Most of us who go deep water work 4 or 6 months a year and goof around for the rest of the time. |
