I found your email address on your Alumni page, and I am contacting you because I am also an Academy graduate (Air Force '84). I wanted to ask you a favor in making your classmates aware of how we can help them by forwarding this email on to them.
I am a Partner in a military oriented recruiting firm, Military Recruiting Institute, that focuses exclusively on Junior Officers. Unlike most firms in our marketplace we don't target Senior Officers or Enlisted as we want to be true experts on our target market....Junior Officers. Our main business is helping JO's who want management development careers in the business world, but we also work with "ex-JO's" who have been in the business world less than four years.
Military Recruiting Institute has over 20 years experience in our marketplace and we have placed JO's at over 800 companies. I apologize for sending this email to you unsolicited as we are not a "mass marketing" type of firm and usually rely mainly on referrals. However, since Academy graduates are especially sought after by our clients we do make an extra effort to try and get the word out. I thought contacting a class officer might be one of the least intrusive methods to contact those in your graduating class that would be interested.
As a side note, in our on going effort to meet our JO clients "face to face" recruiters from our company will be traveling this month to conduct interviews with JO's (and assess their marketability) in the following locations: Wash D.C., Norfolk, North Carolina, Germany, San Diego, Oklahoma, and Kansas.
