Any of you who are stationed overseas or on a ship and would personally like some mail, drop me an e-mail and I'd love to write to you or hook you up with a penpal from the school (K-8) that I work at.

If your unit needs support, our school is very big on military support, since we have or have had military parents, spouses, and dependents involved in the school over the years.

Lisa, who used to be a student there herself, made a visit in uniform to the third grade back in the day when Matt was that age (lo those many years ago!)and her funeral/reception was held in the church building that the school shares.

Our school secretary (a member of the OMR, as is her husband; son is USMC and bound for Kuwait) occasionally comes to school in her BDU's when she has to leave straight from school for drill.

One of our parents was the AF ROTC coomander at BGSU. One of our jr hi science teachers a few years ago was a sub commander. His kids still attend our school. Our third grade teacher has an Army reserve son who's waiting for call-up.

One student's cousin was USNA Class of '00, another's brother just received a nomination to USNA.

Our students have sent letters in the past to many service members and we are ready to send support to anyone in the military who needs it or who just wants more mail. Just let me know!
