| As a friend of a USNA 98 Graduate, I was saddened to hear about the USNA losses and injuries resulting from the attact on the Pentagon on the 11th. As you know Kevin Shaeffer, class of 94 was badly burned over 90% of his body. He and his family have a long struggle ahead dealing with the dificulty of recovery. This will involve close family intervention and encouragement. As a result there will be financial difficulty for his extended family due to time off of work to be by his bedside. We know the Navy will take care of Kevin's medical needs. But his family will need to fulfill his emotional and spritual needs.
