Well, good news to report--Todd Hughes visited Kevin's family yesterday & I went today. neither of us got to see Kevin due to surgeries & post surgery recoveries, but his prognosis is getting better every day. His mom says he really turned a corner this weekend-sitting up in a chair & taking a few steps. his spirits get better everyday & Blanca has been able to read him a few emails. And to let you all know how strong the USNA family is--Kev's dad Phil, got so many calls from Alumni looking to help they were joking they'd have to get a new #. One grad called to offer his private jet to fly the family in; then one day Phil got a call from some guy with a Texas twang offering to help--he thought it was a prank at first, but it was none other than Ross Perot calling to offer his help. So things are rocking & rolling--keep the emails & cards coming--especially as time goes on. Todd Hughes has done a great job organizing a watchbill to bring meals to the family, so every little bit helps. take care everyone! -Swoz.
