good news from DC. Kevin continues to make steady progress and his family is in good spirits. he has been in almost daily surgery, but recently got a break from procedures. he's been sitting up and took some more steps this past week. the doctors and staff have been amazing, working around the clock, on all the victims from the pentagon who are in the burn unit.

the family & support network is settling into the solid routine for the long haul. once infection is beaten, kevin will eventually move to the step down unit from the ICU. so until then visitsing is limited to immediate family. the cards and emails have been tremendous and the family is in awe at how strong and supportive the USNA & '94 family has been.
